The embarrasment that followed...lol!

So you mus have read the first blog(this is an eligibility criterion to read what follows...)



I met my frn that day( arrey Sonali...) and told her that I have written a blog about all the previous "incidents" that took place regards she setting setting me up...I told her that it is to be taken with a pinch of salt and to be forgotten after you have read them(note: thats the important point). She became all excited...went all "wow!..more blogs, grt..will read them and give my comments"(which are nowhere to be seen surprisingly). I told her the site n all, n as usual, forgot about it.

So that day, all of us were at Pizza Hut, hanging out..having steaming hot pizzaz and pasta(Ummmm...) when again my setting up story became the "hot topic of discussion" amongst us...We were laughing and the atmosphere was really funny...until my frn(suddenly remembering this teeny weeny detail) came out with this revealation "oh! that blog that you wrote...I sent it across to(u know who!)"

What happened next will be described in slow motion..

A big spoonful of "pasta with chicken arabiatta sauce"which could have ended in my stomach ended in the bowl...a spurt of coughing followed and in between that the big question "WHAT???" emerged...loud and clear, for everyone to hear. Well, people at pizza hut gave a 'huh!?'look to me and resumed with their food...I know, I know the world has become insensitive to other people's miseries now...(sigh!)

I was embarraaaassed. My god! couldnt believe it was happening to me...The thoughts of the ideas that the guy wud have got in his head came flashing in my mind...come on guys...that was a funny post! not meant to be published to that one particular person...bu hu hu(in chacha chowdhary comics this translates to crying:D)

After those OTT actions and reactions I still thought that Sonali would temme "Chill! U think I would do sucha thing?" and matter would be laid to rest..but nothing like that happened. From time to time someone wud luk at me n go "aww...koi baat nahi...it doesnt really matter" and then give the wickedest smirk they cud muster. After a while, I joined my friends in making fun of myself...what??? had nothing better to do...man! come to think about it...isintít funny??

LOL!! feel like rolling on the floor on the fool that I have made myself:-D

ps: btw something nice did happen after this...now I dont have to scratch my chin and look all thoughtfull everytime someone asks me my "most embarrassing moment"lol! aah! I am satisfied...Hmmm

setting up...

Once I was browsing for books in teksons book store(big show off...i buy all the books from the roadside shops of Palika! but then I did say browsing..) I came across this book which said that the best way to hook up with someone is to be 'set up' by a friend. This looked realy amusing to me, I thought wow! thats simple...looked at the book one more time and kept it back on the shelf. The book went back to the shelf but the idea remained. I went hmmmm abt it the whole day...until one day..
My very close frn called me one day telling me about her friend whom she felt would be great for me. I never gave it a serious thought, thought shes on one of her trips and jus kidding around with me...I jus did the "ya sure"routine and carried on with the conversation, kept the fone down and forgot about whatever she said...
So it turned out that this engineer friend of my friend( too cumbersome...lets call my friend Sonali for future reference:D) is a blogger and people are falling over eachother to read his blogs(I myself have read them and they are nothing but AMAZING!!!)..so she asked me to read them...after I read them my mind and heart for the first time in unison went "set me up, set me up plzzzzz" but I maintained my calm look and told her "the blogs are great...sooo?" for which she went "why dont u talk to the guy?"...and this was the moment I was waiting for...I took the no. from her as if I din care much and waited for some days(jus to hide my haste ;D) and called up the guy on the pretext of congratulating him for his oh-so-great! writing skills...
Lol! we talked for straight 1 hr, the "pretext"with which I called him never once figured in the conversation...we talked about life(in general!), careers(ya ya!), interests...blah blah blah. The fone was put down only because he had to go somewhere...lol!
So you must be wondering what happened next...well I dunno about the guy and crazily enuf, dunno about me either, but we never really talked again. We went ahead with our daily routines without thinking that the conversation that day was meant to lead somewhere! the blogs kept coming and I kept on reading them...but I never talked to him again. Messaged him once or twice, he replied(and did not reply) to a couple of them...but that was it.
and my friend doesnt understand that why...why if everything went right, did nothing happen??
I think she needs to go to Tekson's again to determine her further course of action...
And as for me, I need to go there too to edit the book a little bit here and there...lol!!
